We hit some low spots a few years ago…our house slid off foundation, we lost our dear daughter to cancer, my dear friends both passed…it bottomed us out for several years.

Now, tho, we’re back on our feet, cleaning up the mess, finding our souls again. We walked a really dark path for little while, but we’re moving forward again. Thanks to friends like our volunteer Shawn , who tackled to briars in the garden and our Matthew , who is a small engine wizard, we’re back on track.

Currently , I’m reclaiming the garden… picking up trash , battling the dock , planning on rebuilding the raised beds a new way this fall when we get the metal off the old house roof. We’ve built a comfortable bath house..still in progress, but it’s usable!

I was dreading getting into the garden, thinking I’d lost all the perennial herbs I’d nourished over the years, but lo and behold! Most of them survived! Miracles happen 😊 All the many herbs I’d gathered and cherished to help our family and friends stay healthy and thrive are alive and flourishing…
